Fall 2014 Call for Proposals

This Fall Semester CARTSS is offering two grant programs open to tenure-track faculty in the Social Sciences.

Our Scholar Award program is a competitive grant program to support research activities of tenure-track faculty in social science departments. We are particularly interested in projects involving the participation of graduate and/or undergraduate students in collaborative research roles.
Our Seed Award fund provides start-up funds for planning research activities involving tenure-track faculty from one or more social science departments and colleagues from other fields or universities. We anticipate that external grant funding secured with support of CARTSS Seed Funds would allow reimbursement of the Seed Fund grant to support other scholars.

Grant requests for each of the programs may be up to $4000. Proposals are due by December 1, 2014.
